Tatum's Turnaround Trekker Tales
fumbles feebly and frantically through...

William's Misguide
d Tour

Your party of four's hiked for miles
deep into barren land.
You've trekked beneath the scorching sun
across the blistering sand.

You hoped to find a destination
filled with scenery,
or somewhere with at least a trace
of life and greenery.

You're not at destination's start,
nor closer to its end,
but right smack dab in nowhere's midst,
not a place you'd recommend!

But anywhere will lead somewhere,
so choose four new directions.
Just have the party split,
diverging at that intersection.

To navigate your way around,
your compass is your guide.
Each picks a point to follow,
making sure all points are tried.

N is "nowhere" on point one,
E's "everywhere but near".
W stands for "Where are we?",
S signifies "stuck here!"

If you wandered in a circle
and you're back from whence you came,
consider it a quirk of fate
and you'll know who to blame!
